StoremanStarting salary of £19,305 We are looking for an experienced Storeman (two available vacancies) for our client in Edinburgh. Previous stores experience is required, and additional training will also be provided with this company who are Scotland`s industry leaders in their sectorand who have a fantastic reputation of delivering world-class service.The key duties for these roles are receipting, checking, storing, handling and issuing of consumables, spare parts and machinery. You would also be required to maintain inventory records and stock levels.You will be required to deal with both internal and external customer enquiries. Good IT skills and excellent communication skills are essential for this role, along with good problem-solving skills and excellent teamwork.There are 2 full time Storeman / Warehouse Operator positions currently available - one of them is a permanent role and the other is a 12 month fixed term contract, however it is highly hoped that this will also become a permanent role as well at the endof the contract period.Key benefits- 37.5 hour week - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5.00pm- Some overtime potential but not guaranteed- Generous 33 days holiday (increasing to 36 days after 2 years service and 38 days after 5 years), including public holidays- Auto enrolment into the company pension scheme after 3 months- Health & Safety and environmental training- Clothing and safety equipment providedApplications will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
