Job Description

The CompanyQuest Search & Selection are partnering with this one of the UKs fastest-growing modern luxury fashion brands. They are looking for a Store Manager for their boutique in Edinburgh. This business has been going for over 12 years and find flattering, on-trendand beautifully-made, designer quality clothes at prices that sit within the upper premium market for women clients in the mid 30s.The RoleThe main purpose of this Store Manager role is to maximise profit through effective management of the store and productivity of team whilst ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are achieved.Your responsibilities as a Store Manager role -

  • Host interviews store trials, inductions and seek support from the Head of Retail during the interview and training process
  • Carryout regular feedback meetings, 3-month probation reviews, annual appraisals, and performance meetings .
  • Keep up to date with company polices and ensure the team are trained in all areas of compliance with the support of the Compliance manager .
  • Identifies and proposes opportunities to improve store performance
  • Confident in building organic and long-lasting relationships with customers
  • Train, supervise, develop and motivate employees to achieve the goals of the store.
  • Host and organise event in store to launch new collections
  • High level of product knowledge which can inform merchandising actions, stock movement and replenishment for their location
  • Ensure Stock accuracy and stock room management
  • Take full responsibility for the store, including security, conversion, people management and general store performance
To be successful in this Store Manager role -
  • Previous experience in a Deputy, Store OR department manager level working in a fashion/retail sector within a premium or luxury background.
  • 3 years + in a supervisor or management level
  • Have a genuine passion for fashion.
  • If you have styling experience or wok with customers on a 121 basis this will be advantageous to the customers they have.
  • Experience in management of Womenswear Retail is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritise, delegate and meet deadlines.
