Pertemps are recruiting for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager to work with our Public Sector client on a temporary basis. This role will have a particular focus on stakeholder engagement and management, working with key internal and external stakeholdersto harness their expertise and ensure that the lived experience of those who experience inequality and challenges in securing their rights plays a central role in our work. Applicants should have previous Stakeholder Management experience and be capable ofworking under pressure.Role: Stakeholder Engagement ManagerPay: £16.19 per hourLocation: Edinburgh/hybrid workingMain Duties- Taking a lead role in developing an effective stakeholder engagement plan and stakeholder mapping that supports the development of the programme- Leading the delivery of a series of stakeholder engagement activities including online and in person events- Supporting engagement plans for programme co-design, including supporting the establishment of structures to support effective co-design, considering deliverability and person-centred services and systems with both those who access and those who work to deliverhealth and social care.- Harnessing and analysing the expertise and experience of key stakeholders and the communities they represent, to ensure it is reflected in wider policy development.- Coordinating stakeholder engagement and management with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.- Potential line management of junior members of staff.Essential Criteria1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives.2. Proven ability to produce clear, concise and accurate analysis and advice that draws out key messages, understanding links between issues.3. Strong planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to respond quickly to new demands and manage competing priorities and challenges to deliver high quality outcomes to time.4. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team in a collegiate manner.Please note this role is for immediate start and candidates will require a valid basic disclosure.
