Job Description

JOB AD:Our client is a global semiconductor leader, they help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect people. They are currently in search of adaptable software developers who possessa thirst for knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for coding.Responsibilities:- Collaborate in the design and development of top-notch Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and related tools, setting the standard for excellence.- Engage with cross-functional teams across the organization to deliver cutting-edge tool technologies for the future.- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their requirements and craft software solutions that effectively address their needs.- Deliver exceptional customer support, going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.- Contribute to a distributed team of remarkable professionals worldwide, adhering to well-defined schedules to achieve collective goals.Skills and qualifications:-Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.-Demonstrated ability to characterize, debug and troubleshoot issues in software applications- Strong Java and C/C++ skills- Strong interest in continually learning new skills and technologiesDesirable Skills:- Proficient in UI design and development, with a strong track record of creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.- Skilled in utilizing in-circuit debuggers and programmers to facilitate efficient software debugging and programming processes.- Experienced in developing applications using Eclipse IDE, including exposure to Eclipse plug-ins. Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio Code and command line tools is also advantageous.- Well-versed in both Linux and Windows operating systems, enabling seamless software development across different platforms.- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automating tasks and enhancing software functionality.- Demonstrated interest in web technologies, such as TypeScript, Node.js, and React, showcasing a passion for leveraging modern web frameworks and tools in software development.
