• A subject matter expert supporting our Squads with their SQL and database design-related queries.
• A catalyst for the growth of SQL knowledge across department.
• An innovator embracing and supporting improvements in technologies/practices with regard to how we manage our data.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-directed with excellent initiative and organizational skills.
• Strong experience of database development, preferably MS SQL Server.
• Experience of SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting in an enterprise context.

• Background with SSRS/SSIS/SSAS.
• Experience of scripting in Microsoft and/or Linux environments.

It would be great if you also had some experience with

• NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
• Database automation tooling (e.g. Redgate).
