Specification Sales Manager - Construction ProductsPurpose of the Role of Specification Sales Manager - Construction Products:Working closely with a supportive and knowledgeable technical support team you will have responsibility for growing sales of concrete repair systems used for projects within the infrastructure sector, commercial, public and multi-storey residential buildingssector. You will be tasked with winning specifications with structural engineers, civil engineers, building surveyors and clients across Scotland. Throughout the sales cycle of each project, you will liaise closely with an Area Sales Manager, who will protectthe specification and manage the commercial aspect with main and civil contractors, specialist sub-contractors and applicators.Responsibilities of the Role of Specification Sales Manager - Construction Products:
  • Build relationships at multiple levels within a variety of specifiers
  • Build a pipeline of project specifications and write specifications
  • Deliver CPD presentations
  • Use Glenigans and internal leads to win specifications
  • Provide customer technical support
  • Collaboration with other sales team members who will follow specifications with contractors, registered applicators and distributors
For the position of Specification Sales Manager - Construction Products, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Must have 2 years experience of specification selling
  • Delivered CPD presentations to large groups of specifiers
  • New business development
  • Initiative and able to work independently
  • Tenacious, resilient and a desire to exceed targets
  • Must be well presented, ambitious, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
  • Driving licence
