Job Description

RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a french bistro that offers rustic family-style cooking, all meals are fresh and cooked from scratch.We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our dedicated team on a full-time, 4 days a week, basis.As a Sous Chef, you need to be knowledgeable about menu items and be aware of commodities used, methods, preparation and cooking to ensure a consistently high level of food service at all times. You will also work closely on stock control and ordering andwork with management to continually refresh and improve the food offering.Role Requirements

  • Work closely with the Head Chef in regards to menu planning
  • Have a minimum of 2 years working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level
  • Great communication skills
  • Passion for producing the perfect dish every time
  • Ability to work under intense pressure
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be organised and precise
  • Be enthusiastic, hardworking and able to demonstrate a real passion in their role
  • Be attentive and able to take instructions
