At the heart of the matchday experience, we bring choice, quality, and value for money to some of the most prestigious sports venues across the UK.Job description:Your key responsibilities as the Sous Chef will consist of:- Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked at all times- Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients- Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures- Ensure all complaint handling is dealt with professionally and in line with procedures- Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures- Ad-hoc duties to support the catering team and services- Deputise in Absence of Head chef or Executive Head Chef- IT Literate- Able to Support at Other Edinburgh Elior UK Sites.- Experience with Purchasing Systems Advantageous- Daily Health & Saftey / Food safety paperwork and Safe Storage- Run an Area of Stadium as set out by Head ChefProfile description:The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Sous Chef include:- Genuine interest in customer service excellence- A great team player- Catering experienceEssential- Knowledge of Cooking- Purchasing / Ordering- Good Time Keeping- Strong Paperwork SkillsWe offer:As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £28,000 per annum.This role also comes with a workplace pension, life insurance (x2), 28 days holiday pro-rata (including Bank Holidays) increasing to 31 days after 2 years service. You can also purchase up to 5 additional days annual leave.
