The IT Solution Architect will work on defining and delivering a predefined set of deliverables and outcomes in support of a number of Engineering Transformation Projects requiring architecture leadership directing and leading a number of internal and externalresources.Electronics - Digital Engineering Phase 1Ensuring that all of the Architecture and Engineering Activities complete in readiness for a successful deployment1) Data Migration Strategy and Tools plus scripts2) Unit Effectiveness Strategy including 3rd party development, integration and acceptance test3) Perfromance Engineering Strategy and tools plus scripts4) User Acceptance Testing and Technical Defect Resolution5) Service Transition Strategy including ensuring technical defect resolutionElectronics - Digital Engineering Phase 1 deployment on S1) Overall Technical Design Authority for the Project2) Ensuring the delivery and approval of the Architecture artefacts including high level and low level design with traceability to the business requirements3) Defining any application to application integrations including S to OS4) Establishing the design principles including data standards5) Ensuring that internal and external technical activities are directed and integrated in line with the solutionHelicopters - RUWAS Engineering Tools Exploitation1) Ensuring that there is a defined Solution Architecture and Roadmap for the RUWAS 2022-2023 activities from an Engineering Tools perspective1) MBSE (Cameo) - Requirements (Doors) - PLM (Team Centre) - CAD (CATIA) - Simulation - MatlabThis position will be based out of Edinburgh 1-2 days per week and is outside IR35.
