Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with senior stakeholders and lead project Discovery and conceptual design phases, selecting optimal solutions to support the EMEA business whilst aligning with Global Architectural framework.
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure designs are feasible, resilient, performant, and well communicated.
Formalise conceptual design and support technical and business stakeholders through the approval process.
Support domain specific architects and Subject Matter Experts in the creation of High and Low-Level designs.
In close partnership with Project Managers, manage technical risks, stakeholders and architectural / technical milestones.
Establish principles, patterns, and templates as part of our Enterprise Architecture.
Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects in various regions to ensure global alignment of solutions and technologies within the enterprise
Represent EMEA as part of the Global Design Authority working in a matrixed org environment with a dotted line to Global Enterprise Architecture.
Champion new technologies and partners where they can differentiate and add value to the organisation.
Research new innovations in the market to improve solutions. Perform technology and product assessments to recommend changes to our target architecture and roadmap.
Ensure compliance with global IT policies, standards, and processes.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

5 years of Solution Architecture experience and prior to this practical experience of enterprise application development and/or third-line operational support.
Experience in creating designs at all levels of abstraction and working with teams to implement.

Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of various Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid SDLC processes.
Must have experience of ERP and/or CRM applications, ideally both. Experience of working with multiple heavily integrated systems is a bonus.
Worked in global setting dealing with multi-discipline teams in multiple timezones.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills with ability to document implementations and influence senior managers, project teams, and suppliers.
An understanding of Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman would be useful but not essential.
