Job Description

Introduction An exciting opportunity for a Solicitor (NQ - 3 years PQE) or an experienced Paralegal to join a market leading Scottish law firm within their Rural Property team located in Edinburgh city centre.This award-winning law firm has a deep and rich history, being one of the oldest law firms within Scotland. Our client is committed to their development of a skilled and diverse workforce. A great company to further progress your legal career.Role ResponsibilitiesIn what is a varied and challenging position, the remit of this appointment will include (but not limited to):

  • Working in collaboration with an experienced team to assist with a wide range of rural property transactions.
  • Dealing with crofting, renewables, agriculture holdings and general estate work.
  • Responsible to deal with a varied workload and to prioritise deadlines.
Person SpecificationTo be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following experience /background:
  • Ideally be an experienced Paralegal with a demonstratable track record in dealing with Rural Property matters (preferably dealing with landowning, farming, and renewable clients).
  • Someone who is able of working as a part of a team, under pressure, whilst adopting a flexible and proactive attitude.
  • The driven and self-motivated candidate will possess excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
