Software Engineer - Image Processing required for a rapidly growing organisation in Edinburgh.The company are a quickly growing medical technology company who are at the forefront of their field and developments in the medical technology industry.Right now they are looking to grow their UK team in the Edinburgh office with the addition of an Engineer with experience across image processing/image analysis to work on a wide range of both in-house products and bespoke products for the companys partners.You dont need to be a medical imaging expert - but some knowledge of the area would definitely be a huge plus!Experience in the medical technology world in general would also be massively useful - as youll need to understand what it means to work within strict regulatory guidelines (ISO13485).You will have most of the following skills/experience:**Strong experience programming with C# or Java**Experience with C++**Algorithms**Matrix and vector mathematics**Working with third party suppliers and their usersThis is a hands-on varied role with a generous salary (please get in touch for more information) and benefits packageand you have the opportunity to help build this team, helping to mentor and coach the more junior members of the team and supporting theteam lead.Please do apply and/or reach out to Erin at Cathcart Associates for more information.
