Software Engineer (C/Python) (Outside IR35)Excellent Day Rate (Outside IR35)ContractRemote (Edinburgh for occasional meetings)Posted: 19/12/2023CVs by: ASAPStart date: Dec - Jan 24Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a Start Up who is ready to revolutionize the cybersecurity industry, then look no further!Meraki Talent are currently hiring for a Software Engineer to join one of their clients in the cybersecurity space on an initial 6-month contract which could also lead to a permanent role in the future if the appetite is there for both parties.You will form part of the initial team who would be taking their working prototype to the market and would be turning it into a product that meets enterprise standards.This role will be fully remote with occasional meetup in Edinburgh for team meetings.Who are we looking for* The ideal candidate will have programming skills in Python or C (both would be great!) and a bit of knowledge with Django would also be favourable.* Experience working with Windows platforms, experience with Windows System Programming would be great* Familiarity with DevOps practices helpful but not essential* Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles/practices helpfulYour day-to-day responsibilities will include enhancing the existing prototype ensuring it is ready to go to market. Conducting tests on the product and further building out the endpoint solution.
