Job Description

Software engineer5 month contractHybrid/ Remote working - UK BasedLoriens leading banking client is looking for an experienced software engineer to join their ever growing team.Role overview:

  • Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability.
  • Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code.
  • Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations.
  • Understand and support programme and project delivery cycles including project governance & change management.
  • Understand and support the delivery of the business and technical roadmap, maintaining and considering architecture, delivery principles and development best practices.
  • Engage with internal / external stakeholders to enable/support the delivery business and technical roadmaps.
Essential experience:
  • Experience of working with code repositories, bug tracking tools and wikis as well as experience of designing and implementing APIs.
  • Be comfortable building REST APIs with spring Boot framework
  • Knowledge of API within cloud delivery (Apigee API Gateway would be a plus ).
  • Experience using PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience in financial services would be beneficial.
