Job Description

A very well-known and highly respected Financial Services and Investments client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to work withing their Front Office Systems team. This role will be a hybrid working model based withinthe businesss Edinburgh office with a focus on office work where possible. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a successful organization and become part of a growing business.As a Software Developer, you will:

  • Be working on several different systems within the FOS (Front Office Systems) Continuous Improvements area.
  • Join a team who are accountable for systems utilized by both the Investment Team and Mandate Compliance
  • Have responsibility of developing or redeveloping current systems along with the development of new systems
  • Also support Business growth, fund takeovers and new product releases
We are looking for a Software Developer who has the following:
  • C#/.Net experience. You will be working with current code bases for systems that usually have Oracle back ends, with .Net middle and front levels. These are normally Win Forms, SSRS Reports or processes.
  • Oracle PLSQL / SQL experience. As this role will include database development, creating new functions/practices/Jobs etc and decreasing the technical debt when enhancing existing code.
  • Previous stakeholder Engagement experience and have excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presenting)
  • A collaborative mindset with great attention to detail
In return, you will receive a daily rate of £450-£500 per day depending on experience.
