Job Description

Position: Software AnalystSalary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus and excellent PensionLocation of Work: Fully Remote WorkingRole: A new position has now been created for a Software Analyst to join our clients Engineering team working towards the design and development of a range of cutting-edge software solutions for the autonomous vehicles industry.In this role the successful candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between software engineers and business stakeholders, your focus will be to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software to a host of leading automotive manufacturers.The ideal candidate will have a software engineering/development background (C++ on Linux) and have experience taking customer requirements and packaging them up in tickets and workloads and presenting them to the software engineers.You will need to be well organised, a strong communicator and can expect your role to involve the following:

  • Understanding and analysing project requirements and clarifying customer needs.
  • Refining work items and writing technical specifications to support the work of developers.
  • Proposing technical solutions for product features and proof-of-concept demonstrators
  • Reviewing software designs, code and tests to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Supporting the Product Owner and Team Architect in steering the technical work of a cross-functional Agile team
Key Skills Required:
  • Good working knowledge of C++ and Linux
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to suggest and present clear technical solutions
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
