Job Description

Service Advisor ApprenticeEdinburghSalary: Starting from £13,000If you are looking to learn the skills for a career in an automotive Service Department in a premium global company then keep reading!We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor Apprentice based at our Edinburgh branch. You will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the Scania Services business by working in our commercial workshop and will learn about the ScaniaService operation and provide support to the Service and Parts Department to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained.You will learn about all aspects of a Scania Truck so you can be the first point of call for our returning loyal customers, this role will provide you with endless Customer Service Skills!Responsibilities

  • Attend training courses to become capable of identifying Service needs for our Customers
  • Conform to all customer site requirements & regulations
  • Assist the Service Supervisor in organising all customers Servicing needs
  • Learn about Diagnosing Faults to provide clear action to the workshop Teams
  • Customer Invoicing
  • You will learn about upselling associated parts and services including fixed price repairs, campaigns and special offers.
  • Ensure that the highest standards of Health & Safety and safe working practices are being applied within the all departments and other designated areas

  • A desire to learn as more training will be provided on the fabrication side
