Job Description

Are you an experienced UX Designer / Consultant seeking your next roleIf so, I have a great opportunity here working with a healthcare software company building products for hospitals.Very Agile and data focused business with a great culture and benefits.Enjoy fantastic career progression and even regular sabbatical opportunities!This role can be fully remote or hybridthey have offices in central Edinburgh if you wish to visit.Specifically youll be working with a small and friendly agile team of talented designers building software solutions that have impact on millions of people.You should have experience

  • A strong track record of working in a UX role, either customer side or from an agency setting
  • Experience in UI design, visual design or UX design with exceptional experience in at least one
  • Extensive experience interpreting and disseminating project requirements from multiple sources
  • Extensive experience planning and implementing large scale, cross function, end-to-end UX projects
  • Extensive experience creating UX deliverables including wireframes, clickable prototypes, personas, user journeys etc.
  • Extensive experience in UX and accessibility best practices
  • Extensive experience leading cross functional project teams and delivering innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Extensive experience planning and facilitating discovery and co-creation workshops with customers and internal stakeholders e.g. Design Sprints
  • Extensive experience presenting and collaborating with senior stakeholders within large organisations
  • Experience mentoring or managing UXers or designers
  • Experience planning and facilitating usability testing sessions both face to face and remotely
  • Experience in a variety of design/wireframing/prototyping tools, e.g. Axure, Sketch, UX Pin etc.
  • Comfortable presenting to a wide range of audiences
  • Passion for innovation, human computer interaction, and seamless user experiences
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas to a range of audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
  • Experience working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams of designers, product managers, developers etc.
  • A strong interest in design, technology and trends, with an eye toward the future
