Senior System Engineer:FPSG can offer some exciting opportunities for Senior System Engineers at this time to work with a major Client within the Financial/Banking Sector. Working within the Operations Team you will have great exposure to all applications which are in uses acrossthe business. In this role your expertise will help support the maintenance of various technologies such as AWS Cloud Environments, CA Autosys, IBM Sterling, IBM MQ & IBM WebSphere Application Server and you will also work to identify and resolve issues asthey arise. There will also be opportunities to support other teams by providing advice and support on your areas of technical expertise.As an assured Senior System Engineer, you will quickly recognise this as an excellent development opportunity to be trained in the full range of technologies across the integration layer to learn how the whole infrastructure hangs together. Youll no doubtbe familiar with working closely with Major Incident Managers, 3rd party suppliers, IT Architects and Project Managers to give your opinions and influence the direction of projects.What we are looking for you to bring:To be considered for our Senior System Engineer roles we are looking to assess the experience you have of working in the financial industry and success at Line management with a keen focus on developing junior colleagues. We will be keen to know if you havea grasp of License Management, Patching Management and an ability to engage across senior stakeholder lines.Project Management capabilities would be an advantage, working in a UNIX based OS environment running JAVA applications. Experience working within this operating system is essential.
