Phoenix Therapy and Care provides bespoke support services to children and adults affected by illness, injury and disability. The main purpose of the job is to support the NurseCare Manager in all aspects of care planning, care management, teaching, supporting Support Workers and leading the team by example. An important aspect of the role is to ensure that our Service User can lead a rich and fulfilled life.Our Service User sustained a high level spinal injury over three years ago. He has significant care needs including tracheostomy and ventilator management. He enjoys getting out and about with the support of his care team.We are seeking someone who cares passionately about delivering excellent care and has a desire to help others to realise their full potential. You will have proven management and leadership skills. You will have experience of training and supervision. Youenjoy helping junior colleagues to learn and develop their skills.We welcome candidates with a holistic approach to care. You will have a calm, positive disposition and sense of humour. You will have the ability to work sensitively in the homecare and community environment, and will work harmoniously with our service user,his family and your colleagues.Our Service User requires 24 hour care, including waking nights. Shifts are 12 hours long. Two members of staff work together on shift. There is a robust training and supervision programme in place and the successful candidate will be fully supported inlearning all aspects of the job.
