Job Description

FPSG are working with a long term partner to find a talented and creative Senior Software Engineer, working either from their Glasgow office or operating as fully remote employee based anywhere in the UK.This is an exciting opportunity with a business who are looking to grow their team locally and wider, with a fresh and innovative look at the industry. If you would like to join a friendly, original team using the best technology, then this could be the company for you.Please note this role is only available to candidates who are able to work fully remote from inside the United Kingdom.We are looking for someone with extensive experience.

  • Sound knowledge of modern programming paradigms and software deployment (OO, Testing etc.)
  • PHP 7.1+ experience extremely beneficial
  • Web development experience (API Development, Integrations, Scaling, Databases etc.)
  • Experience using Git (branching, merging and gitflow type workflows)
  • Experience of Symfony or Laravel beneficial.
  • Excellent communication: Both written and spoken is paramount, you will not only be working with the team of in-house developers, but will also be in contact with clients to deliver projects.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively.
