Senior Software Developer (Full Stack) required to join a small team in Edinburgh. Interesting technical challenges and career progression on the cards! The company The company are well-established but have a startup mentality when it comes to their technology. Theyre developing technology for the property market (Proptech, if you will!). They are based in Edinburgh City Centre and are in the process of teeing up some pretty substantial investment.Your new role The existing team is three Software Developers, two Designers and a Project Manager. You will join as the most Senior Developer and will be involved in coaching and mentoring the existing team and will function as a technical authority.The salary on offer is £40,000-55,000. The team are working remotely at present but they are hoping to return to their office in Edinburgh City Centre post-Covid.Career progression Theres real potential for career progression with this role. You can quickly move into a Technical Lead/Lead Developer and eventually progress to CTO (if you choose - no worries if youd prefer to remain hands-on!).Technology Their tech stack is built around Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Core, SQL Server). It is important that youre confident working across the full stack and so experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS is key. Its also advantageous if you have experience with a front end framework (ideally React) and mobile development with React Native and/or Flutter (not a dealbreaker though; definitely a nice to have!).Theyre building some really innovative products designed to make life easier in the property sector.
