Established SaaS organisation with offices in Edinburgh and London are looking for a skilled Senior Software Developer, with good experience using the .Net framework, to join one of their core cloud product functions. Flexible working and modern tech on offer.Theyve been operating for well over 20 years now and their products are used on a global scale. Youd be joining one of their core product functions thats still fairly new to market as it was just launched about a year ago. Its a live data-streaming application thats used by some really reputable organisations to make informed decisions - its a business-critical product for both them and their customers.Youd be joining a distributed engineering squad made up of roughly 15 techies, thats rich with experience. As the product is fairly new to market, youll spend the majority of your time doing large feature work and will help out with the multiple tech upgrades they have planned throughout the year. The product is currently written on .Net 6 (theyre already planning the move to .Net 8), its hosted on Azure (they use a lot of the Azure services here) and the front-end is written in Angular16 + TypeScript. They are pretty flex for this role though, as you can work solely in the back end or Full Stack - its your choice!The company place a really strong importance on software developments best practices (Design Patterns, SOLID etc) and are looking for Developers that have worked in this kind of environment before.Youll ideally have several years of experience with most of the following;** .Net framework (C# / .Net Core)** Databases (ideally NoSQL)** Azure or AWS** Working within a product environmentThe following is highly desirable;** Angular / TypeScript** TerraformsThis is a great opportunity to join a fairly new product function within a really established organisation - If youre keen to keep up to date with the latest versions of technologies then this is the perfect place for you.Their offices are based in central Edinburgh where they have a flexible working arrangement; you can work hybrid or part remote - youd be expected in the office about once or twice a month for team meet-ups but thats it.In return theyre able to offer a salary from £50k to £70k (could be scope for more) with some good benefits to match (8% pension, bonus, private healthcare and much more!).If youre keen to find out more, please apply or drop Douglas Paget at Cathcart Technology a message via linkedinRequired skills
