Job Description

Senior QE - Hybrid - EdinburghA Major Financial Service provider in Edinburgh is looking for a Senior QE to add talent to their team working on Digital Portals for employers pension contributions. Not only does this role offer the chance to get more exposure to the latest tools and technology,but it is also a chance to work with one of the most remote first policies firms in the sector that promotes home working with just 2-3 days per month in the Edinburgh based office.Requirements:

  • Carrying test automation for functional and non-functional testing with strong a knowledge of testing tools
  • Driving quality software solutions into production
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Experience of both waterfall and agile delivery would be an advantage, as this role has exposure to both
  • Experience in transformation
  • Extensive experience within a modern quality engineering role, with a good knowledge of the full development lifecycle
  • Help with mentoring and team development
Technical Requirements:
  • Experience in creating test frameworks in a DevOps environment
  • JavaScript or other coding language
  • Experience in any of the following tools would be beneficial:
    • WebDriver
    • Cypress
    • Postman
    • SauceLabs
    • Artillery
    • Performance Center
    • SonarQube
    • Burpsuite
    • aXe
    • Pa11y
    • CA DevTest
    • Jira/Xray
