Job Title: Senior Project Leader Agenda for Change Band 6 (£31,800-£39,169)37.5 hours per week1.0WTE PermanentOutpatients and Associated Services DirectorateAstley Ainslie HospitalAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1.0WTE permanent post within the Outpatient and Associated Services Directorate. This post provides project management across a range of clinical services and multiple hospital sites. You will be able to influence the development of this role as projects progress.You will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of modernisation and quality improvement projects across a number of key specialties. The role requires close and effective working with a wide range of colleagues from primary and secondary care. You will also be responsible for the direct management of project staff, so experience of staff management is essential.We are looking for an individual who has significant experience of successfully managing projects or working in a project focused environment, welcoming applicants who wish to pursue a career in Project Management.The work is aligned to the Scottish Access Collaborative and the new Modernising Patient Pathways Programme, which collectively aim to improve patient journeys by delivering sustainable changes to support safe, effective, and person-centred care.A Degree in Business Management or equivalent, along with demonstrable Project Management qualification or experience. Must be proficient in IT, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office professional. Experience of using and creating databases is essential, and a working knowledge of the TRAK patient management system is desirable. You must have well developed organisational, planning and time management skills along with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrating good accuracy and attention to detail. Well developed people skills and experience of staff management is essential. An understanding of outpatient service provision would be beneficial for this role.
