Who Were Looking ForWere a small UK-based company that develops and sells remote access software. We need a committed and self-motivated developer to help us grow and diversify.A large portion of our software is written in Java and we need a developer who can contribute immediately to this codebase.Other portions are written in C, Objective C, Swift, HTML/CSS/Javascript. We need someone with knowledge of these languages, or who is willing to learn what is needed. We target Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, which means developing for these platforms and supporting users on these platforms. Knowledge of a range of operating systems and distributions is advantageous. This role is technical in nature but you will not spend all your time coding. Some tasks are secondary to the role but necessary such as writing documentation and helping out with customer support. Others are strategic such as taking high-level decisions and influencing plans for the future. Were looking for somebody who can contribute at every level. Strong communications skills are required. Our work is remote, so self-motivation is key.If you want to work somewhere where you are valued as a person, where your opinions count, and where you have the freedom to architect, develop, release and support software that many rely on, then wed love to hear from you.A Little About UsSimpleHelp was founded in 2007 as a small software house to develop remote support solutions.
