Senior Finance Manager - (FC) A superb growth opportunitywithin a brilliant, agile, SME in Berwick-Upon-Tweed! 2 days office - 3 days remote - Modern hybrid opportunity! Need: They do require that you are ACA / ACCA / CIMA, degree qualified or HND equivalentYour duties: will be managing key financial activity, and the leadership and development of an exciting shiny new team! There are some excellent, new up and coming projects that you can really get your teeth stuck into - how exciting! Makeit your own, make it happen.The role in a nutshell:Presenting monthly management accounts, Profit and loss reporting, balance sheets.

  • Cashflow management via strong credit control and management of the companys invoice facility.
  • Partnering with branch and other managers to boost their understanding of finance and support business planning.
  • To provide a financial input into business decisions and highlight areas saving or alternative options may be advantageous from a financial viewpoint.
  • To play an integral part of the senior management team.
  • Managing the companys accounting for VAT and quarterly VAT returns
  • Managing the Processing of the Company Payroll and reconciliation of PAYE, NI deductions and monthly payments to HMRC.
  • To investigate, propose and advise on grant funding, upcoming legislation, and tax changes as appropriate.
  • Audits/annual financial budgets and monthly management accounts.
