Job Description

A business that has beendescribed as home by existing employees, we drive a culture that is founded on positive change and development.The OpportunityDue to continued success and growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Administrator who is a specialist in Policy and payments to join our Finance Operations function. In this role, you will be responsible for being the subject matterexpert for all accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting processes.Youll be:

  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for payment related activities and systems
  • Taking ownership of and acting as the first escalation point with complex queries received into the team
  • Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations
  • Completion and submission of VAT returns
  • Establish robust processes and procedures to ensure that we comply with regulatory requirements and Group Minimum Standards ("GMS"), including reducing risk exposure and minimising customer impact
  • Monitor the reconciliations to ensure that they are within the Effective Level of Control ("ELOC") and take action to resolve any items falling outside of ELOC
  • Identifying any exceptions within the financial reports and investigating within required timescales.
  • Extracting data from systems to generate information for Senior Management Team
  • Assisting with the development, and management of internal reports including business performance reports
  • Conducting quality checking on colleagues work, ensuring we are complying with regulations and minimising the risk of breaches

  • Delivering small scale projects
You should apply if you:
  • Are excel experienced with bank reconciliations and payments
  • Are experienced with Microsoft
  • Have the ability to work autonomously
  • Is Analytically driven
  • High attention to detail
  • Have experience with macros and SQL - desirable
  • Have a background within payments within a financial services company - desirable
