Job Description SummaryThe DevOps Engineer is a member of the Cloud Security Engineering team and is responsible for building and operating fast and scalable workflows. They are part of the Cloud Security Engineering team and will work with Cloud Security Engineers to deliverCloud Security services and well as support the development of the Global Cloud Security pipeline. The role also includes evangelising the benefits of automation to security and the DevOps Engineer will be expected to produce various artefacts to help improvethe Secure Development Lifecycle practice across the Enterprise.Roles & Responsibilities: DevOps EngineerOverall Responsibility:
    • Creates a new CI/CD process for a new line of business or product from scratch, taking into account trade-offs specific for the product and technology choices that have been made
    • Selects and incorporates new technologies into the pipeline and provide insight into development and operations tasks performed by other teams
Assist senior colleague with implementation of:
    • Revision/Source Control, Configuration Management
    • Infrastructure as Code/Software Defined Infrastructure
Familiar with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment:
    • Continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS
    • Implementation of software development life cycle to deliver Cloud solutions
    • Development of automated solutions to monitor and support software development and release processes
Familiar with deploying monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS:
    • Manages and maintains tools to automate operational processes
    • Supports the team with system automations; identification and root cause analysis of bugs, system errors and permanently fixing the same with speed
    • Implements and maintains end-to-end DevOps automation from build, implement, deploy (code check-in) to operating and maintaining them (CI/CD deployment pipeline)
    • Manages system automations, writing scripts to extend the functionality of IT Infrastructure making use of various APIs and open source tools with sound knowledge of Python (or other) programming, web programming and scaling challenges
Educates Cloud COE team:
    • Educates team to design and implement based on DevOps practices
    • Provides hands-on technical coaching to accelerate learning across the Cloud COE
Required qualifications:
    • Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
    • Understands Cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges
    • Prior programming background in at least ONE language: C++, Java, Python, Ruby etc.
    • Knowledge of development processes and methodologies
    • Knowledge of Automation services like - Lambda, API Gateway, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline
    • Familiar with DevOps tooling landscape and experience integrating various DevOps tools together to provide end to end application lifecycle management
    • Scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
    • Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
    • Basic understanding of application and infrastructure logs
    • Familiar with various DevSecOps tools including Qualys, Fortify, or OWASP
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge of DevOps Automation Tools (in one or more in the following modular area -
    • Build & Deployment, Infrastructure Provisioning, Automated Testing, Automated monitoring)

    • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment. Ability to deliver in sprints and work as a team
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
    • Ability to operate in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams
    • Customer focused with an attitude to deliver excellent customer outcomes through technical expertise
    • Problem solving, analytics and resolution skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills

Certifications:
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (good to have)
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate (good to have)
