Were looking for a curious and adaptable Senior Data Analytics lead to join the Customer Tech Data & Analytics team at M&G who are excited to help us to grow our customers wealth and improve their world by investing with care.. Youll have the opportunityto connect our data sources, build data pipelines and analysis that helps connect our business and drive strategic decisions. Youll be joining M&Gs Customer Data & Analytics team, helping us shape the future of data-driven decision making across the business. Youll work with many teams across M&G to help them design, build, analyse and experiment with analytics solutions that makeuse of the vast array of data we gather. You will also help us to ensure that, with our ever changing business, we are collecting and making use of all data sources as they are released to customers, advisors and colleagues alike. This role will play a leadrole in partnering with our business A key part of the role will be to prioritise the work into the analytics team. You will have a strong appreciation for the technical challenges the team face, and will be speaking to various stakeholders across the business to collect, understand and translatetheir requirements into the backlog for development. You should apply to the roles if:You are an experienced analytics leader who can face into senior business stakeho You are an expert in SQL and Python, and are comfortable using them everyday You are an expert in Azure technologies, particularly SQL DB, Pipelines, Data Factory and Event Hubs You have experience in building and surfacing APIs, particularly using Azure App and Azure API Management services and/or Apigee You are an expert in processing data from databases, flat files, APIs and streams You have a solid grounding in leveraging data visualisation technologies to build narratives, particularly using Power BI You have experience in the Savings and Investments industry and understand the products and distribution channels through which they are advised and purchased What were doing sounds exciting and you cant wait to explore our data You have experience of prioritising work You have a deep understanding of agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban Youre impact driven and eager to have a real positive impact on the company, products, customers and very importantly your colleagues as well You have a self-starter mind-set; you proactively identify issues and opportunities to tackle them without being told to do so Youre a team player whom your colleagues can rely on What youll do Lead analytics for one of M&Gs core Growth Missions Design and plan the build of awesome modern analytics experiences for our staff and clients using a variety of technologies including a modern Azure tech stack Transforming, enriching and surfacing that data to the business though developing visualisations and APIs using: Python SQL PowerBI Azure stack Coach the team to raise their skills and knowledge Lead by example with a continual focus on improving the teams data analytics skills and practices Work with the team to design and build solutions and be accountable for the quality of what is delivered by the team Work across teams to automate build, test and deployment activities and improve our tooling We have a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture at M&G plc, underpinned by our policies and our employee-led networks who provide networking opportunities, advice and support for the diverse communities our colleagues represent.
