Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting and challenging role in a progressive Housing Association We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Care at Home Worker to join our Care at Home team in Edinburgh. Working with our tenants at our Bingham Drive service.We have two roles available:

  1. Temporary Senior Care at Home Worker (Maternity Leave) - 25.75 hours
  2. Permanent Senior Care at Home Worker36 hours
In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as our Senior Care at Home Workerwe will offer you:
  • £10.95 - £11.84 per hour
  • 25.75 and 36 hours per week, worked over a rolling rota

Trust Housing Association is a national housing, support, and care provider, offering a range of accommodation and support services for older people and housing for families and individuals. We have over 3,600 households across the length and breadth ofScotland, from the Highlands and Islands all the way down to the Borders.What were looking for in our Senior Care at Home Worker:Our care at home service provides support to older and vulnerable adults in their own homes with daily living tasks. Operating between the hours of 7.30am through to 10pm seven days a week.As Senior Care at Home Worker, you will manage a team of Care at Home Workers supporting them to provide a high quality and friendly service. We take pride in the difference that we make to our clients and our Senior staff play a key role in shaping anddelivering this service.Skills and experience required to become our Senior Care at Home Worker:You will be experienced in a care related service with excellent communication skills and supervisory experience. An SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to achieve this qualification is also required to comply with the registration/timescalerequirements of the SSSC. Ideally you will have previous experience in working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these.
