This role is for a Senior Billing Assistant and will ideally suit candidates who have a strong sales ledger background.This role will involve a mix of working from home & the office. JobAs a Senior Billing Assistant you will have the opportunity to be involved with the following:
  • Oversee billing operations, encompassing the generation and refinement of preliminary invoices
  • Facilitate and supervise client invoicing across departments
  • Prepare and distribute client reports
  • Generate and circulate client summaries
  • Offer advice on billing procedures to relevant parties
  • Convening with stakeholders to reach consensus on billing and associated Work in Progress (WiP) and debt instructions
  • Interacting with personnel at every organisational level within the company
  • Monitor and progress (to completion) requests received within Billing team to ensure all work carried out promptly
  • Assist the Billing Team Manager in analysing and breaking down client/matter Work in Progress (WiP) and billing data
  • Securing approval for write-offs and addressing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) concerns stemming from billing requests
  • Creating and handling necessary Work in Progress (WIP) and disbursement write-offs
  • Addressing inquiries with precision and timeliness
  • Delivering necessary training on billing and offering guidance on client/matter pages to partners and fee earners as needed
You
  • As a Senior Billing Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
  • Capable of carrying most of the duties listed
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Adaptable to changing processes and software
  • Works as part of a team to attain objectives within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Able to comply with all policies and procedures
