My high-profile banking client based in Edinburgh require an accomplished Administrator to join them for an exciting and challenging engagement offering the chance to work in a fast paced financial environment! Job Title: Banking Administrator Duration: 6 month initial fixed term assignment with scope to extend longer termLocation: Edinburgh (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)Start: ASAPSalary: £20,000 - £20,900 Per Annum plus benefits (as below) For this opportunity you will be an employee of Ajilon working on site with the client while being rewarded with a strong salary, holidays, pension, certification opportunities and more!Key Skills & Experience: Accomplished administration background Proven communication skills are essential Any prior Banking/Payroll/Cash experience would be a bonus Proven ability to follow processes and strong problem solving skills Able to commit to 2 days in the officeThe Role: The Banking Administrator is responsible for replying to all shareholder queries received by phone, email, letter or webchat. 80% of the position is phone based and the other 20% is investigating cases. A friendly personality and ability to work in a team oralone is important. Other duties will include: Places telephone trades in accordance with instructions received. Answers to straightforward questions about shareholder accounts and provides more advanced technical assistance. Investigates errors in shareholder accounts and statements. Routes issues that cannot be addressed at point of contact to appropriate team, in accordance with documented procedures and responds to shareholder once issue resolved. Reviews daily open items to ensure proper follow-up and closure. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
