Job Description

Senior AdministratorBased in Leith | On-site roleFull Time hours | 37 hours per week | Monday to FridayTemp to Permanent role | ASAP startSalary up to £28,000 depending on experienceSearch Consultancy are currently working with one of our UK-wide clients to recruit a Senior Administrator for their office in Leith. This is a hugely varied and massively rewarding Administration role where you will need to turn your hand to a number ofdifferent functions.The client plans to bring the successful candidate in initially as a temp, with a view to the role becoming permanent within 3 months.Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Providing comprehensive administration support across a number of functions within the business including General Admin, Financial Admin, Facilities & Building Management, HR & Payroll
  • Management of both incoming and outgoing mail for the office, ensuring incoming mail is logged & distributed quickly & correctly
  • Correspondence & document management including producing letters & emails, creating presentations, photocopying & printing
  • Providing administration support to the finance team, including petty cash management, basic invoicing & data entry onto Pegasus system
  • Assisting senior management with budget monitoring
  • HR & Recruitment administration including the on-boarding of new staff, payroll processing, absence management & all associated administration
  • Collation & reporting of data and statistics relating to absences, recruitment & service user data
  • Participation in interdepartmental meetings including preparation of paperwork, taking minutes & associated administration
  • Organisation of events for the business
  • Facilities & building management including arranging of office maintenance, repairs & general facilities work where required
  • Providing occasional cover on Reception when needed
  • Line management & oversight of the Administrator & Receptionist in the office
  • Various other administration duties as directed/required - full spec will be provided on application
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
  • Extensive previous experience in a varied Administration role carrying out similar duties to the above including exposure to Finance, Facilities & HR - this experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation skills with the flexibility to turn your hand to a variety of different duties
  • Solid IT Skills including the use of Word, Excel & Outlook
