Role: Senior Admin OfficerContract length: 6 month contractPay rate: £13.35-£16.83/hour PAYEVenesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow/Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Admin Officer for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £13.35 to £16.83/hour PAYE. Due to the current circumstances this role will be remotebased for the foreseeable future.Responsibilities:- Planning and organising a variety of tasks, adopting and enhancing current administrative processes, ensuring project management processes are adopted and Business Unit and Organisational aims are supported.- Support to both internal and external meetings by way of meeting organisation, minute taking and record keeping- Coordinate and contribute to the production of support materials for the business unit. This will Include materials such as operational plans, reports, communications, meeting minutes.- Producing weekly summary reports to the Chair and the Chief Executive and monthly reports to the Executive Team- Management of the FOI and Data Protection inbox. Including the acknowledgement and logging of information requests received by the organisation.- Acting as a point of contact for the Business Unit, dealing with all enquiries attached to the role and processing them in accordance with the relevant procedures. Essential Skills:- Educated to Degree Level or Equivalent- Demonstrable experience of providing high level administrative support to Senior Management. - High level of written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentation skills and the ability to deliver training.- Experience of communicating with stakeholders and audiences at every level.- Experience of managing complex issues at a corporate level- Knowledge of legal frameworks e.g. Equality and Diversity, Freedom of Information, Data Protection- Good interpersonal skills, including persuasion and motivation- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly, effectively and confidently at all levels in the workplace.- Ability in planning, organising and prioritising own and others work effectively. - Delegation and supervisory skills- Strong numeracy and analytical skills- Problem solving skills- Ability to work within a complex and dynamically changing team- Ability to rapidly assimilate volumes of complex information- Able to produce work of a high quality with minimum supervision - Advanced level of IT skills, including extensive experience of using Microsoft Office PackagesDesirable Skills:- Project Management Skills- Executive Assistant/PA support experienceIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
