Job Description

Lloyds Banking Group support a culture of Inclusion and opportunities todevelop to become the Bank of the future and Helping Britain Prosper.On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a Senior Accountant - Equity, Fixed income, Bonds for a 3 months contract based either in Edinburgh or London. Purpose of the Senior Accountant - Equity, Fixed income, Bonds:The candidate will be working on a project on behalf of Product Control working on the Infrastructure project, replacing some of the systems we use within the Commercial Banking and Treasury (GCT).As a Senior Accountant - Equity, Fixed income, Bonds, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on planning and testing of new P&L system including:
  • Contributing to planning and preparation for periods of testing and staged implementation.
  • Undertaking testing of new system
  • Reviewing test files as produced by IT
  • Undertaking ad-hoc work and investigation arising from partner requests.
  • Supporting projects.
  • Supporting delivery of efficiencies and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Establishing and building relationships with partners.
What we require from the candidate:
  • Experience in product control
  • Experience in Financial Services- banks, insurance, asset management- doesnt need to be an accountant
  • Murex would be a benefit, but not necessary
