Job Description

Denholm is delighted to be working with a leading marketing agency based Edinburgh, who are looking for anew Senior Account Manager to join their busy team.This agency works with big brand names in a range of sectors including FMCG, Retail, Financial Services and Healthcare, and are well-known for their innovative experiential marketing and creative campaigns.In this senior role youll be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing campaigns and projects end-to-end, and being integral to the success and nurturing of the team and agency at large. What youll be doing In this exciting Senior Account Manager role youll be a key contact for clients, with responsibilities including:

  • Driving forward, organising and challenging client briefs, campaigns and proposals.
  • Applying strategic thinking and insight to all projects.
  • Ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts.
  • Managing multifaceted, multi-channel and multi-stakeholder campaigns with excellent organisation and leadership skills.
  • Working with planners to interrogate client briefs, by challenging and asking questions, to develop communications briefs that meet business needs in an effective and accountable way.
  • Writing inspirational creative briefs and going on to direct the strategic development of creative work, presenting and selling this effectively to clients.
  • Ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships. Building productive relationships with the main day-to-day clients but also striving to build rapport with senior clients too.
  • Seeking to build a good working rapport between the client and agency teams, throughout the agency not just within client services.
  • Adding values across clients and within the agency.

  • 2-4 years of solid experience, either on agency or client
  • Someone that drives things forward.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and do lots of varied projects in tight timescales.
