Job Description

S&OP Manager - Edinburgh (Hybrid) - Around 45K plus benefitsLoriens client, an award-winning organisation with an amazing office in the heart of Edinburgh offering hybrid working arrangements, is well known for its widespread subscription service (the largest of its kind in the UK (many of us here are customersourselves). As well as this they have a great eCommerce platform, and exciting transformation and European expansion projects in play right now, so nows a great time to come on board.Starting out around a decade ago and seeing continued success, they have been growing rapidly to become an established brand and they are now looking to expand their team with a new addition in the shape of an S&OP Manager with forecasting, planning andanalytical skills to drive this area of the business.Having introduced new talent to this firm ourselves already, we can also give you the positive feedback on how they operate, how friendly the team is, and even more insights as to why this could be a great new step for you - So take a look at the finer detailsbelow, and if this sounds like it might be of interest, get in touch before its snapped up.Role Outline:

  • Using your knowledge and skills to work within a multidisciplinary team of Third-Party Logistics, Buying, Marketing, Supply, and other personnel
  • Produce forecasts (raw material/monthly using prior data and trends) as well as capacity planning models
  • Own planning for this area of the business (high-level mid to long-term, production, capacity, etc.)
  • Manage monthly Sales and Operations Planning meetings with relevant stakeholders
  • Craft ideas for slow moving/surplus inventory
  • Work with senior leaders to improve the wider S&OP function from discussing new tooling/technologies to cost reduction planning, service and quality reviews, gap analysis and other methods
The Skills/Knowledge theyre looking for:
  • Demonstrable track record of working within the S&OP domain and a background in creating/developing Supply Planning Processes
  • Strong working knowledge of Forecast, Capacity and Supply Models
  • Solid Advanced Excel skills (and ideally some SQL but not a necessity)
  • Stakeholder liaison skills and ability to work across different projects and with different departments
