Job Description

Residential Childcare Workers required for day and night shifts, full time hours available. Edinburgh and Lothians - £13.47 per hour - 3 month fixed term contract initially, with it potentially being extended and potentially having permanent opportuinitesof the back of it.The Social Care Community Partnership are looking to recruit a number of experienced Residential Childcare Workers with experiance working with young people with learning disabilities and autsim across Edinburgh and the Lothians to meet the needs of ourclients services in voluntary organisation childrens residential services.Requirements for this role

  • You must have experience in working with young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • You must have experience in delivering personal care.
  • Ideally you will possess an SVQ3 in Children and Young People and an HNC in Social Services or be working towards these qualifications to fulfil registration requirements with the SSSC to work as a Residential Child Care Worker.
  • Alternatively a Social Work degree, Community Education degree or equivalent also meets the requirements for this role.
  • You will ideally hold a drivers licence.
