Software TesterSalary: £48KRemoteHow would you like to help solve a bunch of societal issuesSuch as tackling climate change, empowering people to better support and supply their local communities and helping big companies and suppliers meet their sustainability targets All while helping individuals around the world. How about doing that for a company that will trust you to do the work you’ve been hired forWhere you’ll be able to add value when you see an opportunity to do so, whether that’s suggesting a shiny new process, sharing your experience of a cool tool or framework or improving the efficacy of end to end tests. For once; it’s not too good to be true. You’ll be working on a big ole’ piece of software (ole’, not old…), working with some pretty great technologies to improve and expand an application that’s used by millions of people worldwide and growing rapidly. You’ll be solving problems like ensuring functionality works across different devices and operating systems, testing AWS and cloud infrastructure and configuring automation frameworks to improve feedback and coverage. You’ll expand their regression, test load and performance, improve capacity and perform e, all while *literally* saving the world.Aside from AWS, Javascript is a key to hitting the ground running. You’ll be willing to learn Ruby on Rails from the team already in place to get stuck in with an automation framework in Ruby (or vice-versa if you have Ruby skills but will learn Javascript) and will add to the JS framework they’ve started building already. If you’re keen and driven to make the world around you a better place then, it’s worth getting in touch to chat through the details, there’s a lot going on - don’t miss out!
