Job Description

Location: Edinburgh (EH11 1DQ) - Hybrid working available once trained Permanent, Full time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday, working hours between 8am and 6pmSalary: £21,000 + bonus schemeUnlock your potentialPart of Acacium Group, Thornbury Nursing Services has over 35 years experience in responding to last-minute requirements bringing exceptional nurses to NHS and private healthcare organisations. We care passionately about our nurses and the difference they make to the lives of patients and clients.As our Regulation Training & Compliance Coordinator you would be responsible for ensuring our existing database of workers remain up to date (compliant) at all times and is accurate and current. Working with our bespoke database, Staff Manager, you willconstantly monitor the status of all workers, and when individuals are flagged as non-compliant for a number of different requirements take the necessary action to resolve.Everyday you would be:

  • Take inbound/make outbound calls to existing workers to discuss any compliancy issues.
  • Process, countersign and verify new DBS/PVG/Access NI/Garda applications and where necessary, check the online services in order to ensure decisions on our workers continued work status is safe, fair and consistent.
  • Check the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) NMBI (Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland) registers to confirm that our workers are cleared to practice in the UK and or the ROI.
  • Process incoming mail and send templated correspondence to workers regarding compliancy shortfalls.
  • Send occupational health screening forms to workers when necessary.
  • Promote our online ordering and booking platform to clients and workers.
