More importantly, creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work is the right thing to do.What’s the JobTo support UK & ROI Head of Education with providing inspirational education in the salon channel, retail channel promoting brand advocacy and mentoring, supporting, and developing regional freelance education team as well as the premium retail brand ambassadors.To support Education across all Omni Channels within the UK business to all key partners.The role will involve impeccable organisational skills and professionalism, in depth industry knowledge and the highest level of time management.What will I do

  • Deliver in salon trend led education sessions to key account salons & national accounts
  • Deliver in salon trend led education to high tier ghd stockists
  • Support the sales team with gaining new ghd stockists
  • Support the salon channel with effective recommendation and communication of ghd brand implementing REDAC & supporting sell through
  • Attend regional and national sales meetings representing the education department
  • Attend Area Sales Manager (ASM) meetings to provide educational updates
  • Attend National and Key Account education/planning/trade meetings
  • Support National and Key Account Managers with the effective organization and timetable of education deployment within major salon groups
  • Support with the launch and activation of new innovations within the salon channel
  • Keep regular contact with sales team and education team maintaining clear lines of communication
  • Mentor a regional team of freelance ghd educators, providing them with clear brand communications, training, development and support
  • Be responsible for an in-depth reporting system on all regional education
  • Support with the launch and activation of new innovations within the retail channel
  • Support All REDAC seminar for the premium retail teams
  • Keep regular contact with Retail Brand ambassadors maintaining clear lines of communication
  • Present at regional meetings, shows, seminars and events
  • Develop a strong social media presence promoting brand advocacy
  • Attend monthly Education meetings
  • Report weekly to the UK & ROI head of Education
  • Involvement in highly confidential NPD testing and activation
  • What skills and qualities will I need
  • Highly qualified senior hair stylist background
  • Confident understanding of social media
  • Education experience
  • Coaching/mentoring experience
  • Presentation experience with a variety of different sized audiences
  • Excellent IT skills such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in the hair, fashion and beauty industry
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Fashionable with a keen understanding of the hair, fashion and beauty industry
  • Hunger to be part of a brand at the forefront of innovation
  • A love of hair styling and a need to share that passion with other stylists
  • Professional manner always with a high level of customer focus
  • Ability to adapt education or communication to a variety of different teams and stylists
  • Ability to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Proven organisation skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent prioritisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to take direction and action tasks in a timely manner
  • Extremely reliable, dependable, honest and trustworthy
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Extensive travel is required in this role so mut be flexible
