Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Recruitment Advisor / Employment CoachLocation:Edinburgh - Hybrid role (3days WFH - 2 days office) - non drivers consideredCandidates living further afield such as Fife or Perth - still welcome to apply as field based, but must have driving licence and access to a vehicleSalary:£23,500 - £26,500 (Depending on qualifications and experience)Package:Excellent Holiday Entitlement,Pension+ Much More!Type:Full Time, Permanent (programme running until March 2023)KM have several opportunities in and around Edinburgh, for motivated and engaging individuals who are looking to support the wider community and lower unemployment rates.The successful candidates will have prior experience of working within any of the following customer facing sectors; Employability/DWP, Recruitment, Sales or Customer Service - and have proven demonstrable experience of developing new businesses, working totargets and the ability to coach, mentor and motivate individuals.The Role:

  • Engage, motivate and supportunemployed participants through to gaining sustainable employment opportunities; via contract referrals, community engagement/attraction, promotion of relevant training courses and identifying the correct pathway, support participantswith cv writing and the job application process.
  • Proactively engage with local employers to source employment opportunities for your caseload.
  • Proactively attract participants through a variety of avenues.
  • Work towards and achieve targets and KPIs for job starts / placements.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork in line with compliance and quality standards.
Essential Criteria:
  • Must have experience of working within a performance target driven environment.
  • Must have experience of working in a customer facing role
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification)OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma
  • Must be flexible with travel.
