Job Description

Our client, a public sector body, seek a Records Management Lead - Information Governance for an interim period of 3 months.This role offers hybrid working, however onsite working in Edinburgh is required due to the nature of the work.Depending on experience this role offers a date rate between £225 - £450 per day outside IR35.Main deliverables:

  • Undertaking a review of records management practice across the estate, and a review of existing organisational strategies.
  • Review of SharePoint as an Electronic Records Management Solution - including consideration of third party add-ons to aid compliance of records through management lifecycle, and cost analysis.
  • Produce a report outlining findings of the two reviews.
  • Work with the project team to develop the action plan for next phase of the project to implemented EDRMS.
  • Review and update of all Information Asset Registers.
  • Drafting of an Information Management Strategy.
  • Creation of any other records management policies as necessary
Essential skills:
  • Recognised qualifications in Information Governance/Information Management/Records Management; significant experience in relevant discipline.
  • Experience of undertaking records/information management reviews.
  • Experience of implementing SharePoint has a records management solution.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, to be able to organise prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
