Exciting opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Planning Solicitor to join my clients busy department in Edinburgh, Scotland.The applicant will be expected to provide support primarily to their commercial property group. The work will include, Section 75 Agreements, planning applications and appeals and advice on a range of consenting matters (eg electricity wayleaves) as wellas due diligence support for our property, corporate finance and banking teams. Relevant sectors will include renewables (mainly onshore wind but offshore wind, hydro and solar too), housebuilding, aggregates/extractive industries and generally all sectorswhere planning and consenting issues arise.This is an excellent opportunity to join their friendly and busy commercial firm.ExperienceApplicants must have a good knowledge of planning and consenting law and practice and be able to comfortably work independently or as part of a team. In addition to excellent communication skills, applicants should have the ability to deal confidently andprofessionally with clients on day to day issues.
