A growing consultancy/digital agency, who also develop their own in-house products, have an exciting opportunity for a Front End Developer to join their team. They are experiencing a period of growth; their existing clients are keeping them busy and theresalso new clients and projects kicking off!They know that technology plays a big role in any companys success - which is why they want to help their clients to get it right.What will I be doingGood question!As mentioned, the company are looking for an experienced Front End Developer.Youll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and youll be involved in the full design and development process from idea to delivery. The team are a very tight-knit bunch, so youll work closely with the Designers and will be encouragedto bring your own ideas to the table.The company work with several clients which will allow you to work with and gain insights into many different sectors which keeps the role exciting!Who am IThe company are looking for a Developer that has commercial experience in a Front End role. If youve got experience working in an agency/consultancy then this could be the perfect role for you - not to worry if you havent, theyre keen to see people fromall different backgrounds!Ideally, you will be skilled in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and React. As React is the Front End technology they work with the most, you should have commercial experience with this. Any TypeScript experience will get you massive bonus points as well.Youll be working on bespoke products for a range of clients (who may have different technology stacks) so you should be flexible and up for learning new things. Some of the other tech that they work with but is not limited to is React Native, Flutter, Node.js,C#, MVC .Net and Net Core. It would be really helpful if you have knowledge of any back end technology but this is not essential.The role involves working closely with clients and so it is important that you have strong written and verbal communication skills.Who will I be working withAs mentioned, youll work very closely with everyone else in the team, especially the Designers and Software Developers in the team. Everyone is happy to bounce ideas off each other and really get stuck into each project that they have. There wont be anyshying away in this role due to the size of the team so you should be someone that likes to put their ideas and opinions forward!The companys senior team are very experienced too and are great to work under. Theyre very flexible and theres no micro-management. Its up to you to manage your time.What are the benefits and where will I be basedThe company have offices in Edinburgh City Centre and the team are currently go into the office twice per week. If youre not based Edinburgh but are really keen on the role, they are happy to consider once per week but the office is always open if you likegoing in the office a bit more frequently than this.The salary on offer is up to £55,000 (+ 10% annual bonus) but they could potentially go a bit higher than this for the perfect candidate.
