CK Group are recruiting for a Quality Officer on behalf of a leading provider of Clinical Research and Analytical services, to be based at their site in Edinburgh on a permanent basis.The Role:The team at this site focus on research and development within the Life Sciences sector, in compliance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP). This role is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to further their career. Supporting theQuality Manager, the role will include working with the wider Quality team, site Laboratory Support and Histology Scientific staff at the Edinburgh site to implement, maintain and improve procedures and processes that support GCLP compliance within the analyticallaboratory areas. Support will also be given to R&D departments when required. Full on-the-job training will be given to enable the candidate to excel in their role.Your main duties will include:Assisting the Quality Manager in: Maintaining & improving the Quality Management System (QMS). Training personnel in GCLP and associated QMS requirements. The completion of agreed action plans arising from customer audits Maintaining and executing the site inspection schedule Maintaining the Supplier oversight programmeOther responsibilities will include: Maintaining the document control system Investigating non-conformances and deviations and drawing conclusions in support of CAPAs Assisting with customer audits Identifying and participating Quality Improvement activities.To be considered for the position you will have the following skills and experience: BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline Experience of working in a GxP or other highly regulated environment would be highly beneficial for this position.For more information or to apply for the position, please contact Sarah Farrow on or .
