Job Description

Quality Assurance Test Analyst £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus + pension + benefits Permanent London CVs by 24th January 2021 Meraki Talents Global Investment manager are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for conducting activities to ensure that application and system products and projects meet defined quality standards. The role will participate in key test functions across multiple small work requests, projects or within a program. Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Test Analyst;

  • Working experience in Agile methodology
  • Designs test conditions, test cases and test acceptance criteria as per the testing strategy and business requirements
  • Ensure test conditions and test cases are reviewed by project teams and obtains sign-off
  • Maintains all test artefacts in appropriate Test Management tools
  • Ability to review developers unit tests to write Automated tests to compliment the test coverage and include them as part of regression suite
  • Performs test execution and capture test results and test evidence
  • Defect management
  • Provides required details for Test Status reporting
  • Co-ordinates UAT and provides support during UAT
  • Provides excellent customer service and contributes towards positive team culture
  • Contributes towards Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to quality testing processes by outlining the program, evaluation, testing methods and identifying improvements
    • Background of the Quality Assurance Test Analyst;
  • Strong JavaScript programming knowledge
  • Working experience with any of the automation tools like protractor, cypress using chai / mocha libraries
  • Understanding of Gherkin syntax for BDD automated test implementation
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of quality control and quality assurances approaches;
  • Understanding of version control software like Github / Bitbucket
  • Working experience of CI / CD tools like Jenkins to schedule Jobs to run automation tests
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, quality control and quality assurances approaches;
  • Experience in quality management software processes;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong programming knowledge;
  • A creative mindset with the ability to see how the small details fit into the big picture;
  • Ability to use logical reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems;
