I am working with a vastly growing software product company in Edinburgh and London who are looking to bring on a talented Quality Assurance Lead. The companyThey are a thriving software company, focused on a specific market featuring heavily in the news currently. They have offices in both London and Edinburgh, and have experienced vast growth over the past 12 months. They focus on designing and building softwareacross a huge industry and this role will sit across their main platform. In relation to where you will work, this will be a combination of home based and some office working - typically two or three days in the office (not hard and fast rule). The teams you will work in are split geographically, so some of these teams need moreface time than others. Each role will likely not be 100% home working, so flexibility to get to the Edinburgh or London office is important. The roleUnlike many Lead QA roles - this position gives you the opportunity to mentor the QA team, whilst still being hands on with scripting. You will be responsible for the QA function, maintaining their existing Test strategy and ensuring projects stay on track. As the team modernise and move from Selenium to Cypress you will be hands on with the coding - creating and maintaining their automationscripts alongside the other QAs (writing tests on API level rather than UI).This role will eventually become more centred around Performance Testing, working alongside the wider team to establish a performance framework. As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for the performance but will ultimately work collaboratively with the widerteam to establish a strategy best placed to upscale the organisation. You** 3 years strong Cypress experience** 3 years strong Typescript experience** Proven experience mentoring/leading a QA team** Performance Engineering/Test knowledge** Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc.)This is an opportunity to work with a thriving and employee-first organisation. You will get to work on some largescale projects and with some huge organisations, whilst leading and working alongside some very bright minds. If youre a QA Lead and youre interested in the above, get in touch with Olivia at Cathcart TechnologyRequired skills
