Job Description

Quality Analyst- Tester 6 month contract with potential extensions ££ Inside IR35Remote (UK) With one of Loriens top banking clients Knowledge & Experience:Top 3:

  1. ETL / Data aggregation experience
  2. Experience of Rest API testing
  3. Test Automation experience
Followed by:
  1. Open Banking knowledge
  2. Previous Mobile App Testing Experience
Other nice to haves:
  • Java programming experience (other languages would suffice)
  • Experience of using Selenium, Silk, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft DevOps
  • System & System Integration Testing experience
  • Previous Agile working experience
  • Experience of working with multiple platforms, including off-shore teams
  • Working in an Agile environment, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate knowledge or ideally previous experience of
    • Attendance and participation at daily scrums
    • Sprint planning sessions
    • Contributing to Sprint retrospectives
  • Mainframe knowledge beneficial
Tasks in role:
  • Creation of Defects in agreed tracking solution
  • Retesting of defect fixes
  • Progress reporting to Test Lead
  • Escalating issues to the Test Lead or Test Manager
  • Creation & execution the following:
  • Traceability matrix
  • Document (BRD/FSD etc) Reviews
  • Test Conditioning
  • Test case scripting
  • Executing SQL queries
  • Executing SOAP UI jobs
  • Analysing results of tests executed both by the team, and other platform teams within the project
